Amy has always been a keen photographer, attending analogue courses and film development workshops since a young age, falling in love with the art of dodging and burning in the dark room and the ample possibilities of being able to manipulate the outcome of an image. Inspiring to be a make up artist also, she used these skills to create her own portfolio which subsequently created a photography portfolio too, and once they were posted online, the commissions came rolling in. Amy initially prioritised her career as a make up artist keeping private photography commissions, along with her own documentary projects of people and landscapes that inspire her as her secondary career. Over the last decade, this love of light and dark and how they manipulate colour and compositions has propelled her into the world of moving visuals, which she has married with her love of music, where she has since started directing, filming and editing music videos.
